On October 3-4, The Power of Inclusion is taking place in Auckland Aotearoa, New Zealand. This global summit is focussed around the topics of representation and inclusion, and the programme presents a full and captivating 2-day schedule which includes performance, keynotes, case studies, conversations and panel discussions.
The Power of Inclusion’s esteemed speaker line-up features 60+ international and local voices who will share their stories, experiences and expertise to generate momentum for a future where representation and inclusion are the new industry standards. Staying true to vision, the line-up includes but is not exclusive to people of colour, women, inter-faith, indigenous, LGBTQ+ and people with a disability, and the event is open and accessible for all to attend. Qualified NZSL interpreters will be present throughout.
The summit will bring hundreds of like-minded people together, present a myriad of world views and posit future action to create a more inclusive industry and world. The Power of Inclusion summit is offering a complimentary crèche for those attending with children under 5.
Crèche details:
- A variety of age appropriate activities will be on offerMeals can be provided on site, or alternatively families can bring in their own
- The carer ratio is 1 per 4x children (and within that ratio, there will be no more than two children under the age of 2)
- The crèche will be open half an hour before and half an hour after the summit is scheduled to start and finish as per the times on the programme

The Civic Car Park is a short walk from Aotea Centre, located at 299 Queen Street. Entry is on Greys Ave and Mayoral Drive, and there are 928 parking spaces across three levels.
- Mobility parking
The Civic Car Park has 20 mobility spaces available. Take your mobility card and entry ticket to a pay machine and press the help button for instructions. More information available on Auckland Transport's website.
- Public transport

- Taxis
For city centre venues, the best spot to meet a taxi is the Bledisloe Street car park, located at 24 Wellesley Street West.
